HOW TO DETECT EXTRA ROOT CANALS CLINICALLY AND RADIOGRAPHICALLY?
Root canals that cannot be detected and therefore cannot be cleaned take the first place among the causes of failure of root canal treatment. There are many methods we use to detect the presence of these root canals radiographically and clinically. So when should we apply the three-dimensional imaging systems? What is the importance of the use of magnification systems in detecting the extra root canals? Which instruments do we need? What are the clinical signs that indicate the presence of an extra root canal? What is the incidence of extra root canals? Which teeth should we be alarmed about? Where should we look for extra root canals?
In this lecture, we will examine all these questions and their answers from A to Z.

DIGITAL AND BIOLOGICAL APPROACH FOR THE TREATMENT OF TOTAL EDENTULOUSIM
Treatment of total edentulism with dental implants has made significant progress in recent years, with digital and biological approaches pioneering. Digital dentistry has revolutionized the field of implantology by allowing more accurate and predictable planning, placement and restoration of dental implants. The use of computer aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technology, 3D printing, and virtual implant planning software have significantly improved implant success rates and reduced potential complications.
At the same time, thanks to personalized treatment options, special treatment alternatives were offered to patients, and many difficult-to-treat cases became easier to treat.
Combining digital and biological approaches to implant treatment for total edentulism can further improve treatment outcomes by providing a more personalized and patient-specific approach. By leveraging digital technologies to plan and design implants that are optimized for each patient's unique anatomy, clinicians can achieve more predictable and long-lasting results by using biomimetic materials that mimic the natural properties of teeth and bone.
In this presentation, we will talk about the use of digital tools from the planning of total edentulousismto its implementation, from personalized prostheses to the formation of biological tissue contours

Digital and Conventional Techniques in Clinical Workflow
Occlusion is of vital importance to the long-term success and comfort for the natural dentition as well as the prosthetic restorations. Immediate patient tolerance can be provided by applying the appropriate individual occlusal scheme which may differentiate relative to various restoration types. Using monolithic zirconia as a rastorative material for monolithic restorations became more popular paticularly for bruxing patients. Establishing digital flawless occlusal relationships in monolithic restorations prior to fabrication may minimize tooth wear and diminish chairside time loss. Same rule applies for the implant supported prostheses which are highly susceptible to occlusal interferences. Several clinical techniques and appliences may be used to avoid occlusal interferences in the centric state and during the eccentric moves. In this presentation, effect of erroneous occlusion on temporomandibuler joint disorders, practical use of face-bow for a well-balanced occlusion, rigid silicone bite registration technique for a correct centric occlusion, monolithic restorations for bruxing patients and modified lingualised occlusion concept will be described.

Root Canal Treatment Obturation and the New Trend: Bioceramics
The primary objective of endodontic treatments is to preserve the vitality of the tooth and prevent periapical tissue disorders. To achieve successful results in root canal treatment, the treatment should be performed within specific protocols and disciplines. The treatment stages can be briefly summarized as isolation and access cavity, shaping, irrigation, root canal filling, and coronal restoration. In this presentation, I will talk about obturation of root canals, which is the last stage of root canal treatment. The purpose of root canal obturation is to fill the canal anatomy in three dimensions to prevent apical leakage. Thus, the possibility of re-infection is reduced. There are several options for root canal obturation. Many questions arise during obturation, such as which canal filling material should be used, the properties of canal filling materials, obturation techniques, and long-term results of the material used. In this presentation, these points will be explained with articles in the literature, videos recorded under the microscope, photos and animations in my archive. The aim is to provide a small contribution to clinical practice.

TOMOGRAPHY IN DENTAL PRACTICES
Developing technologies has led dentists to obtain three-dimensional images of the teeth and jaw area by using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) in their practice. CBCT are very useful devices for implant planning, endodontic applications, surgical procedures, and other dental treatments. It provides less radiation exposure and offers higher resolution images than other 3D imaging methods. However, it may be costly, not necessary for every patient, or not all CBCT devices on the market can produce adequate diagnostic images. Dentists should apply CBCT scans according to the patient's condition and choose a CBCT device in accordance with practice.

CONVENTIONAL IMPRESSION METHODS IN THE ALL-ON-FOUR CONCEPT
Osseointegrated dental implants are considered the gold standard for replacing lost teeth and surrounding structures which are require a certain healing period after they are placed in the bone and before they are loaded. If the patient needs surgical intervention such as alveolar ridge-bone augmentation and sinus lift operations, the recovery period may need to be extended. In biomechanically compromised environments, such as poor quality bone, tension on the crestal bone can be reduced by increasing the distribution of implants in the anteroposterior direction, placing longer implants, and maximizing the number of implants. The all-on-four concept sheds light on its use in edentulous patients; It is one of the treatment methods that surpasses the routine treatment alternative of conventional prostheses with successful results in short-term, long-term and retrospective studies. This treatment concept; In cases where the posterior bone volume is insufficient vertically or horizontally in the posterior regions, titled implants are placed in the posterior regions and straight implants are placed in the anterior region, allowing the hybrid prosthesis to be placed on four implants immediately or conventionally. Passivity of prosthetic components is one of the most important prerequisites in oral implant rehabilitation to maintain osseointegration. Particularly, the passive seating of the infrastructure to be attached to the independent and non-parallel implants is important both to protect the crestal bone and to prevent biomechanical complications. Impression with a open tray technique with splinted implants in clinical conditions can increase the prosthetic success.

Augmentation Techniques Applicable in Clinical Practice
Careful evaluation of available bone volume in future implant sites is a crucial step during implant treatment planning. In particular, horizontal ridge dimension should be regarded as one of the main parameters influencing peri-implant marginal bone stability. Previous studies demonstrated that, after implant insertion, buccal bone thickness ≥1.8–2.0 mm is necessary to prevent marginal bone resorption and subsequent soft tissue recession. Unfortunately, both maxillary and mandibular edentulous sites very often present insufficient buccolingual width to allow standard implant placement in an adequate horizontal bone envelope. Hence, horizontal ridge augmentation techniques are often required as an essential part of the treatment plan to ensure positive medium- and long-term clinical outcomes of implant-supported rehabilitations. Limitations, benefits and disadvantages of the existing bone augmentation techniques should always be considered in order to understand and follow the best clinical indications for each individual case. Various surgical approaches are available to increase horizontal ridge dimension. In this presentation, augmentation techniques that can be applied in clinical practice will be explained.

Digital Transformation in Dental Practices; Tips for Clinicians
History shows that each revolution is built on the foundation of the next revolution. The 5th industrial revolution is expected to build on the 4th industrial revolution, but this will go one step further. It can be questioned that most sectors have only recently adapted to industry 4.0 and that it is not a bit early for industry 5.0. This conference will discuss how digital transformation is taking place in dental practice and what dentists can expect with industry 5.0.
